Storage location for Offline Songs


The default Offline Song storage location for KKBOX Windows (both Desktop and Windows Store versions) is at [C:\Users\(user name)\Music\KKBOX\(KKBOX Account)\pc download\].
※To ensure KKBOX Windows functions properly, do not move data in or out of this directory※

You can choose to store Offline Songs under a different directory by referring to the steps below:

【 KKBOX Windows Desktop 】
1. Click the [...] to the top left corner and choose [Settings].


2. Under "Storage", click [Change] to choose a different directory.



【 KKBOX Windows App 】
1. Choose the  icon to the bottom left → [Setting].


2. Choose [Offline Songs Storage Location].


3. Choose [Select the Offline Songs Storage Location] to choose a different directory.



The default Offline Song storage location for KKBOX Mac is at [/Users/(user name)/Library/Containers/com.kkbox.KKBOXForMac/Data/Library/Application Support/KKBOX/(KKBOX Account)/Downloaded Music] and cannot be changed.

To ensure KKBOX Mac functions properly, do not move data in or out of this directory.


The default Offline Song storage location for KKBOX Android are as follows:
 ■ Internal Storage: Android > data > com.skysoft.kkbox.android > (KKBOX Account)
 ■ External Storage: Android > data > com.skysoft.kkbox.android > files > (KKBOX Account) > cache
 ※To ensure KKBOX Android functions properly, do not move data in or out of the above directory※

You can choose to store Offline Songs under either the internal or external storage, but you will not be able to designate the directory path.

1. Tap the [≡] icon to the top left corner and tap [Setting].


2. Choose [Offline Songs Storage Location] and choose the location to store your Offline Songs.



The default Offline Song storage location for KKBOX iOS is undisclosed, and cannot be changed in anyway.

    All music on KKBOX have been legally authorized by record labels and are protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM).
    Our music must be played using KKBOX, and cannot be transferred to any other devices (such as MP3 player), written to CD or set as alarm music/ringtone.
