Offline Songs Started to Re-download

Offline Songs will re-download under the following situation:

1. You have changed the audio quality.
If you have changed the Audio Quality setting, Offline Songs will only re-download when the current audio file is at a lower sound quality.

2. Audio files were not properly downloaded/ Broken audio files.
Audio files may not download properly in case of unstable internet connection.
The system will automatically re-download when it detects broken audio files.

3. Updated audio file.
When we find broken audio files, we will update the audio file, which will trigger KKBOX to download the tracks again.

Your question was different? You can see

  1. KKBOX provide Normal and High audio qualities.

Normal quality audio files are generally between 5MB to 8MB, while High quality audio files are generally between 8MB to 12MB.
※The longer the track, the bigger the file size.

Whenever you change the audio quality, whether from Normal to High or vice versa, your existing Offline Songs will be temporarily cleared in order to download tracks in the right quality.
Depending on the number of Offline Songs you have, and your internet connection, the amount of time needed for KKBOX to download all tracks in your playlist may vary. We do not recommend changing the audio quality unless you have the need.
